We are proud to congratulate Christine Thompson on being selected as Alabama’s 2026 Cherry Blossom Delegate—an incredible honor recognizing her leadership, academic achievement, and dedication to service.

To celebrate this special week, the Alabama and Mississippi State Societies will be hosting a joint reception in Washington, D.C. honoring Christine and fellow delegate Madison Gordon. Together, they represent the very best of our states as part of the prestigious Cherry Blossom Program, joining outstanding young women from across the country and around the world for a week of cultural exchange, connection, and civic engagement.

Thank you to the Alpine Group for hosting this event at 500 N. Capitol St NW. Tickets are free for members of the Alabama or Mississippi State Societies and $15 for non-members.
